On World Environmental Day, 2023,  NCC Naval Wing of St Xavier's college organized a bike rally to Station Kadavu Junction with pluck cards to create awareness among the local people about this special day. The rally was fagged off by Principal, Dr. (Fr.) V Y Dasappan S J. At Station Kadavu Junction, following a flashmob. NC1. V Vyshnavi and NC1. Shifana gave environment awareness speeches. NC1. Tessy gave live demonstration of paperbag making to the public, followed by the distribution of almost 350+ paper bags, made by NCC Naval wing cadets, to fish vendors, petty shops, defence personnels, bakery, stationery shops and to public. 32 cadets in the leadership of ANO, S/lt. Rajesh M participated in the programme.
