75th Anniversary of National Independence day was celebrated at the college on 15th August 2021. Chief guest Dr. P P Ajayakumar, Pro- Vice Chancellor of University of Kerala hoisted the flag and delivered independence day message. Dr. (Fr.) Jose Mathew S.J (College Manager), Dr. (Fr.) V Y Dasappan S.J (College Principal), Smt. Reshmi Poulose (Vice-Principlal) and Br. Rince S.J of Vidhyaniketan addressed the gathering. Sri. Rajesh M (Vice-Principal and NCC officer), Dr. Ajith M Thomas (NCC Officer) and Fr. Jose Thachil S.j (Asst. Bursar) were also present on the dais. NCC cadets of both army and navy wing conducted march past.

Staff members, students, brothers from Vidhyaniketan, students from Winners academy, parents and neighbors participated in the function which was conducted strictly adhering to COVID-19 protocol. Sweets were distributed after the function.
