NCC Naval Wing and NCC Army Wing of St.Xavier’s College, Thumba conducted an inter-college NCC Drill Competition on 8 March 2024 at St.Xavier’s Football Ground. Around 400 cadets from 17 colleges in Trivandrum competed the drill competition. NCC Naval cadets of eight colleges competed for Dr (Fr) V Y Dasappan Ever Rolling Trophy and cash prize of Rs.5000, sponsored by Indian Bank, Puthenthope Branch. NCC Army cadets of nine colleges competed for Dr (Fr) Jose Mathew S J Ever Rolling Trophy and cash prize of Rs.5000, sponsored by Indian Bank, Puthenthope Branch. Captain. Sunil Kumar, Commanding Officer of 1 (K) Naval Unit NCC evaluated the Naval Drill Competition. Whereas, ANOs of different colleges evaluated the Army Drill Competition.
