10th July 2024: The Career Guidance and Placement Cell of St. Xavier’s College, Thumba, in association with TechbyHeart, organized a seminar on Cyber Security and Ethical Hacking. The event was inaugurated by Sri. Anoop Ambika, CEO of Kerala Start-Up Mission, who highlighted the importance of cyber security and shared incidents of cybercrime to stress the need for awareness.

Dr. Divya Thomas, Coordinator of the Career Guidance and Placement Cell, welcomed the audience, followed by a presidential address from Dr. Nisha Rani, the Principal. Speeches were also given by Sri. Sreenath Gopinath and Sri. Nazar of TechbyHeart. The seminar featured a session by Sri. Rohith N, Cyber Security Analyst, which included a live demonstration of phone hacking.
